Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Chicago. 🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you visit Chicago’s Chinatown, Chiu Quon Bakery is an absolute must-stop. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the incredible aroma of freshly baked breads, pastries, and traditional Chinese treats. Everything looked so good that we couldn’t decide what to get…so we got one of everything! 😁 It turned into a fun tasting adventure, and every item had its own unique flavor and texture. What impressed us most was how fresh everything tasted. From the sweet pastries to the savory buns, every bite was soft, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The selection is enormous, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re craving a quick snack, dessert, or something to take home. The prices were also surprisingly reasonable considering the quality and variety. The staff kept the line moving efficiently while still being friendly and helpful, and the bakery was clean and well organized despite being very busy. This is one of those places that’s easy to recommend because it delivers exactly what you’re hoping for. We’ll definitely be backβ€”and next time we’ll probably end up buying one of everything all over again! πŸ˜„

I absolutely love this bakery! The bread is always soft and fresh, and the pastries are generously filled, making every bite delicious. Each item has a wonderful balance of flavor and texture, and it's clear that everything is made with care. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the size and quality of the pastries. Even though the bakery is always busy when I visit, the staff work efficiently, and the lines move quickly, so the wait is never long. Between the amazing baked goods, excellent value, and fast service, this is easily one of my favorite bakeries and a place I highly recommend.

I ordered almost 2 of everything and I got 12 of the same disgusting bean sandwiches. Not sure how she managed to mess up this badly. What a complete waste of my time, gas and money. Very disappointed with how badly my order was messed up. I only managed to get 4 that were not bean paste. Those were actually good but still all my money down the drain. Will not be coming back anymore…

This place has a phenomenal variety to choose from. Everything had a taste of quality ingredients. We came on a day when they were super busy but the line moved so quickly. Be adventurous and try some new things on your palate. This isn't a place where you'll sit and eat because there's no space or tables. Grab something and nibble while you enjoy walking around Chicago's beautiful Chinatown.
